Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to ensure the operational excellence of our amusement facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical health of our gaming assets, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. You will bridge the gap between technical maintenance and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every piece of equipment functions flawlessly to deliver a superior entertainment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Maintenance & Repair: Execute comprehensive troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a diverse range of arcade games to ensure high uptime and "like-new" condition.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with the Technical Manager or General Manager to design and implement rigorous preventive maintenance schedules.
- Inventory Management: Source and manage game parts to control costs, maintaining accurate inventory data within our web-based tracking system.
- Operational Support: Address and resolve arcade operational issues promptly, communicating effectively with management to mitigate service interruptions.
- Guest Solutions: Provide immediate, friendly technical assistance to guests regarding game malfunctions, ensuring a positive resolution to their experience.
- Asset Management: Ensure token changers, ticket stations, and instant-win merchandise units are fully stocked and operational. Adhere to strict security protocols regarding token collection and asset storage.
- Facility Upkeep: Assist with game installation, relocation, cleaning, and general facility maintenance to maintain brand standards.
- Compliance: strictly adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma required; technical training or certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of technical experience or equivalent training in electromechanical repair or a related field.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active/standing for extended periods.
- Professional Skills: Strong communication capabilities and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
