The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to lead the development of a new mobile application and supporting cloud platform.
\n
\n
As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you'll work across mobile, web and cloud technologies, making key architectural decisions and writing production-quality software that interfaces with connected robotic systems and large volumes of data.
\n
\n
This is a hands-on Senior Robotics Software Engineer position with significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the technical direction of the platform as the team grows.

What You'll Be Doing
\n

- Lead the architecture, development and deployment of a greenfield mobile application and supporting cloud platform.
- Build scalable REST APIs, backend services, databases and distributed systems, alongside high-performance mobile and web interfaces.
- Establish best practices across software architecture, testing, CI/CD and observability, while providing technical leadership to the wider engineering team.

What We're Looking For

- Extensive software engineering experience, with strong React experience and a track record of building production software.
- Strong experience building production mobile applications and cloud-native platforms, ideally using GCP, alongside RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong software architecture, database and distributed systems experience, with SQL/NoSQL, event-driven architectures, CI/CD and automated testing.
