We are seeking to hire a Travel LPN Behavioral Health - Pediatrics unit for in Brattleboro, Vermont. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.
Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2448 Weekly Gross Pay for a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Behavioral health units (Pediatric Inpatient)
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week guaranteed, 3 or 4 shifts per week, every other weekend and some on-call
Position Requirements:
- LPN experience: 5 years - Required
- 1 - 2 years of recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health nursing, recent experience within the last 3 months – Required
- Must have recent experience and be comfortable working in Pediatric units - Required
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed
- Must be willing to take Charge LPN shift
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- LPN License for State of VT or Compact - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
- CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Within scope and practice of LPN, provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s under general supervision (PediatricInpatient )
- Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Must be willing to charge LPN shift if needed
- Must float to other units as needed
