Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Boston. This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys through comprehensive legal assistance, case management, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex legal tasks with precision and efficiency. 1 day a week WFH
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to review case details and assigned projects.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, in compliance with judiciais procedures.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law; present findings to attorneys.
- Interview clients and witnesses, preparing detailed summaries for case preparation.
- Organize, maintain, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings.
- Assist with trial preparation and attend trials and hearings as needed.
- Track and document billable hours accurately for case records.
- Utilize case management software to organize and manage legal documents efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as required to support attorneys and ensure successful case outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in business litigation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting legal documents and routine motions.
- Experience with e-filing motions and pleadings.
- Familiarity with NetDocs and Clio software (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of billing software and ability to enter billable hours independently.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of discovery procedures, trial preparation, and case management.
- Education: Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred (not mandatory).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
