What You'll Bring:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience working with students who have individualized education needs
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate strategies and specialized supports
- Ability to collaborate with families, service providers, and school staff in a remote environment
- Skill in providing effective, engaging virtual lessons and documentation of progress
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, 1:1 virtual instruction tailored to the student’s learning goals
- Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, and related service providers to maintain consistency and support
- Adapt materials and methods to ensure accessibility and success for the student
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
- Stay in regular contact with all involved parties to support the student’s transition and well-being
