HVAC General Manager
Location: Greater Worcester, MA Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $120,000+ (Based on Qualifications) + Commission, Bonuses

Key Responsibilities Own P&L and operations, balancing field execution and oversight:

  • Hit profit, growth, and revenue targets.
  • Manage budgets, sales, and metrics.
  • Build vendor ties for optimal pricing.
  • Optimize dispatch/technician workloads.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance on heating/cooling systems during initial business establishment, transitioning to oversight as the team expands with multiple technicians and installers.
  • Deliver same-day customer resolutions.
  • Coach staff for standards and unity.
  • Create work instructions, procedures, and knowledge base.
  • Oversee job costing, projects, and safety.

What We're Looking For Collaborative developer with sales drive, top customer skills, and mastery in documentation, processes, and AI. Seek leaders who thrive on both technical fieldwork and team management.

  • 10-15 years HVAC; management/lead/supervisor preferred.
  • Proven revenue/P&L success.
  • Expertise in costing, building teams, efficiency.
  • Strong communication.
  • Proficient in computers/Office.
  • Valid driver's license (12+ months) with clean record: no major violations (e.g., DUI, suspension) or multiple minors in past 3 years.

Education and Certifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
  • EPA 608 Certification.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience (preferred).

Physical/Work Conditions Office/field mix:

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, driving in traffic/weather.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, stretch, twist, reach, travel.
  • Normal/corrected vision (close/distance/peripheral/depth).
