Step into a dynamic role supporting student success as a full-time contract Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting near Great Barrington, MA. This assignment offers a 35-hour workweek and the opportunity to make a genuine impact by delivering OT services across two schools within the district. You'll be part of an educational team dedicated to helping students thrive academically and personally by enhancing their functional abilities in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Experience or interest in school-based OT
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress reporting for school populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ individual needs and develop targeted intervention plans
- Provide therapy services to students at two district schools
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Consult with staff to support student inclusion in various learning environments
