Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN

$35–$38/hour | PRN
Everyday tasks can become important milestones during recovery. Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at The Elms Center in Milford, NH to help skilled nursing residents practice the skills they need for greater participation in daily life.
What You'll Do

Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervising OT's established plan of care.

Guide residents through self-care practice, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

Use prescribed activities to address coordination, upper-extremity function, and endurance during functional tasks.

Help residents apply adaptive equipment techniques and safety strategies recommended by the OT.

Communicate observations about progress, assistance needs, and treatment tolerance to the supervising therapist.

Complete treatment documentation and collaborate with nursing and rehab colleagues to reinforce residents' care plans.

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.

Ability to carry out treatment plans while recognizing changes that require the OT's attention.

Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
