We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade cloud solutions in a hybrid environment combining AWS and on-premises infrastructure. This role focuses on hands-on engineering, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to modernize legacy systems and build scalable, resilient cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cloud migrations, CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, and hybrid storage integration, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architecture, security, and operational standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and hybrid (AWS + on-prem) architecture
• Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Containerization and orchestration experience with ECS, Fargate, and EKS
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Amazon Linux) environments
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Experience with cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, refactoring)
• Troubleshooting across compute, networking, storage, identity, and containers
• Knowledge of governance, tagging, security, and operational best practices

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise IT experience with strong hands-on engineering background
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS solutions
• Experience supporting large-scale cloud migrations
• Experience handling mission-critical, high-availability systems
• Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and branching strategies
• Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and hybrid networking

Additional Skills

• Experience with NetApp ONTAP, FSx for ONTAP, or hybrid storage solutions
• Familiarity with caching appliances and storage optimization strategies
• Basic understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures
• Experience working in government or regulated environments
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional preferred)
