Job Description

Rebet is a cutting-edge social "sportsbook" that revolutionizes play-for-fun sports predictions by integrating them into a social gaming environment. With a unique blend of promotional play and loyalty rewards, we offer sports enthusiasts a dynamic platform to earn prizes while participating in sports games! We create a social atmosphere throughout the application by allowing users to bet directly against one another and enjoy a full scale social media platform!

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work on a dedicated tead building our KYC and identity verification system to support a safe and trusted experience for our users in a regulated environment. You will help translate our designs into clean, secure, production-ready interfaces. As part of our team, you'll own frontend systems that directly impact user trust, shape a mission-driven product tackling fraud and compliance challenges, and have the opportunity to build fast, ship often, and influence the product from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features in React and TypeScript, ensuring performance, accessibility, and reliability across browsers.

  • Translate product and design specifications into elegant, usable interfaces, collaborating closely with backend engineers and designers to deliver secure flows.

  • Establish scalable frontend architecture and internal component libraries, with an emphasis on security (login, authentication, form validation).

  • Contribute to shaping the product experience from the ground up, with opportunities to define best practices and influence technical direction.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.

  • Experience developing secure user flows (e.g., authentication, identity verification, form handling).

  • Strong design intuition and attention to detail in UI/UX.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments with ownership over full feature lifecycles.

  • Preferred: familiarity with Tailwind, Next.js, Playwright, or testing frameworks; prior experience in identity, fintech, or other security-focused domains; experience building dashboards, SDKs, or B2B interfaces.

This position is onsite at our Boston HQ located next to South Station.
