Role Description This part-time Standardized Test Prep Tutor – LSAT role is a hybrid position based in Wilbraham, MA, with some work-from-home flexibility for online sessions and lesson preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering individualized and small-group LSAT tutoring, reviewing practice tests, and explaining key concepts in logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension. The tutor will create lesson plans, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress using appropriate tools and methods. Additional duties include communicating with students and families about schedules and goals, staying current with LSAT format and resources, and maintaining a professional, supportive learning environment both in person and online.

Qualifications

- Strong LSAT content knowledge, including logical reasoning, analytical reasoning (logic games), and reading comprehension, with proven high performance on the LSAT or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in standardized test preparation or related academic subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to plan lessons, manage multiple students, and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Comfort with technology for online instruction, including video conferencing platforms, digital whiteboards, and shared documents.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field; background in education, law, or related disciplines is a plus.
