Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in NH. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, support students with diverse learning needs, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide differentiated instruction in a variety of academic and social-emotional areas
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid NH teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
