An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience, specializing in intermediate care. This role requires expertise in managing patients in a stepdown setting and provides the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN licensure.
- Proven Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience.
- Skilled in telemetry monitoring and care.
- Ability to work effectively on a designated nursing rotation, including every other weekend (EOW).
- Strong critical thinking and patient management skills relevant to intermediate stepdown units.
Location:This role is located in Brockton, MA, a historic city known for its welcoming community and rich cultural heritage. Brockton offers easy access to major highways and public transportation, making commuting straightforward. The city provides a variety of dining, shopping, and recreational options to enrich your off-duty hours.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a stepdown/medical-surgical telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient vital signs accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in designated nursing shifts, including every other weekend.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Schedule:
- D/N rotation (Days/Nights).
- Every Other Weekend (EOW) coverage.
Contract Details:This is a contract position with a preferred start date early January, although flexibility may be accommodated for the right candidate.
