A nursing opportunity is available in the Emergency Department of a respected hospital located in Portsmouth, NH. Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active RN license, preferably with an active compact license at submission
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting, with proven emergency room expertise
  • Current BLS certification required; must hold ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications
  • Strong familiarity with GE equipment and documentation systems such as Expanse
  • Ability to work within a variable staffing model and float as needed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients within an 18-bed emergency unit (10 additional hall beds), maintaining patient ratios of approximately 5:1
  • Perform advanced emergency procedures with precision and confidence
  • Collaborate with unit secretaries and tech staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support
  • Adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines, maintaining professionalism with uniform scrubs
  • Participate in continuous learning and assist in mentoring less experienced nurses

Schedule

  • Approximately 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
  • Commitment to floating as required
