Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active RN license, preferably with an active compact license at submission
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting, with proven emergency room expertise
- Current BLS certification required; must hold ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications
- Strong familiarity with GE equipment and documentation systems such as Expanse
- Ability to work within a variable staffing model and float as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients within an 18-bed emergency unit (10 additional hall beds), maintaining patient ratios of approximately 5:1
- Perform advanced emergency procedures with precision and confidence
- Collaborate with unit secretaries and tech staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support
- Adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines, maintaining professionalism with uniform scrubs
- Participate in continuous learning and assist in mentoring less experienced nurses
Schedule
- Approximately 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
- Commitment to floating as required
