Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Interior Architect/Designer to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of creativity, passion, and drive. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional design solutions for multifamily and commercial projects. This role requires a deep understanding of space planning, FF&E selection, finish specification, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to develop interior architecture design concepts for multi-family residential projects. They will also have the ability to select finishes, materials, and interior specifications with attention to performance, durability, and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop interior architecture design concepts for multi-family residential projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to all applicable regulations.
2. Select finishes, materials, and interior specifications with a keen eye for performance, durability, and aesthetics.
3. Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure design concepts are integrated into the overall project design.
4. Utilize Revit to create detailed design plans and models.
5. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.
6. Conduct space planning, FF&E selection, and finish specification activities in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into design concepts as appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design.
2. A minimum of 7+ years of experience in interior design or architecture, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
3. Proficiency in Revit.
4. Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and documentation.
5. Proven experience in space planning, FF&E selection, and finish specification.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
