American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray for a day-shift teaching hospital assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2+ years of experience.

- Work in the Radiology department of a 298-bed teaching hospital
- Day shift, 7:30 AM-2:00 PM, 30 hours per week guaranteed Monday-Friday
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- On-call required to cover absences
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Requirements\n

- Minimum 2 years of experience with 1 year current experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- MA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- Must have reliable personal transportation
\n

Additional Information\n

- Perform a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
- Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications along with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
- May be assigned supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as needed
- Practice infection control and body substance isolation per hospital and OSHA standards
- Attend annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens and infection control training
- Maintain continuing education in both radiology and mammography
- Must work two major holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year periods with surrounding weekends
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and all RTO must be submitted prior to offer
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Does not allow compact license
