- Setting: Float Pool (Medical/Surgical & Telemetry Units)\n
- Contract Length: 14-week travel nursing contract\n
- Start Date: December 15, 2025\n
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
- Charting System: Cerner (Epic experience also considered)\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1890-$1940\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of application)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Progressive Care, or Telemetry nursing experience\n
- ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)\n
- Proven experience with cardiac patients and management of cardiac drips (no titration)\n
- Ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage telemetry monitoring\n
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips\n
- Float pool or travel nurse experience preferred\n
- Proficiency with Cerner or Epic EMR systems preferred\n
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical exemption for flu considered)\n
- First-time travel nurses with 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply\n
\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

- Deliver high-quality patient care in medical, surgical, and telemetry units\n
- Float between units as needed during 12-hour night shifts\n
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone)\n
- Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry readings\n
- Administer and titrate IV insulin drips per hospital protocols\n
- Document all patient care activities using Cerner or Epic EMR systems\n
- Provide relief for Avasure office staff during breaks and meals\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards\n
