This position is for a highly experienced Registered Nurse to work in an LGBTQ+ affirming inpatient treatment environment. The Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide complex nursing care for patients with co-occurring psychiatric disorders. The role demands a commitment to fostering healing in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring high-quality interventions, and supporting recovery processes.
\n\nResponsibilities\n
- \n
- Utilize the nursing process to address the individual and group needs of patients.
- Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Float to other units and take charge shifts as required.
- Engage in the development and maintenance of patients' sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
- \n
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with inpatient psychiatric experience within the last 3 months.
- Experience in Psych/Behavioral Health, with age groups clearly listed on the resume.
- Active Vermont or Compact RN license.
- BLS certification from the American Health Association.
- Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment.
- Psych skills checklist from within the last year.
