Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services to high school students during the extended school year (ESY) in West Springfield, MA. The role involves delivering onsite support to students, collaborating with educators, and implementing individualized therapy plans to enhance communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments tailored to high school students
- Designing and implementing therapy sessions based on student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to program development
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts SLP license is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings, especially with high school populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite according to established schedules
