Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Body Imaging Radiologist (Locum Coverage)

Our organization is currently in search of a Body Imaging Radiologist to provide locum coverage for a well-established program located in Massachusetts. Below are the key details regarding this position:

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct body-imaging-based studies.
• Rotate through the following daily rotations:
• Chest Day: Perform CT Chest scans, averaging 25-30 cases daily.
• Ultrasound Day: Complete approximately 50 ultrasound procedures per day.
• Body MRI Day: Execute 5 MR scans, 4 fluoroscopy procedures, and 30-35 abdominal plain films.
• Body CT Day: Handle 25-30 CT scans daily.
• Work hours typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Possibility to work a flexible schedule of 3, 4, or 5 days per week.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience with Powerscribe 360 Dictation and Carestream PACS.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR, as the organization is transitioning to this system.
• Preference for candidates who can commit to at least one week of coverage per month on an ongoing basis.
• Open to candidates with either fellowship training in Body Imaging or those without, provided they demonstrate proficiency in body MRI and CT studies.
