Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Experience working with K-5 populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education evaluations
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage diverse workloads across multiple campuses
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop and assist in the implementation of effective interventions and supports for students
- Participate in student study teams and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Offer counseling and crisis support as needed
- Collaborate closely with school teams to foster positive student outcomes across both elementary schools
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
