Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant for a premier healthcare system in Winthrop, MA.

This is a full-time temporary 13-week contract!

Schedule:

- Full Time, 40 hours/week
- Monday - Friday:\n
- \n
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Tuesday/Thursday: 10:30am-7pm
\n

- No weekends, holidays, or call
\n
\n

\n
Pay: $1,800/week TRAVEL
\n
Local Rate available upon request!

Job Description:

- Average Patient Ratio: 1 at a time, 30-minute treatments
- Dept. Details- department goal of 70% productivity 12-14 patients/day
\n
\n
\n
Everyday Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional training, balance activities, gait training, and manual therapy techniques as directed.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all state practice acts, clinic policies, and professional standards.

Requirements

- 1+ years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in Outpatient setting required
- MA PTA License and CPR certificate required
