Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Counselor License required
- Experience working with elementary-age students strongly preferred
- Skills in individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and preventive programming
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding of developmental, emotional, and educational needs of young learners
- Ability to work on-site throughout the assignment with a reliable, full-time commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to elementary students, supporting social, emotional, and academic development
- Develop and implement preventive and responsive intervention strategies
- Facilitate individual and group sessions based on student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, district staff, and caregivers to support student growth
- Help to develop and execute positive behavioral plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and ongoing reports as required
