Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Duration: 13-Week Contract
Pay Rate(Local): $28–$35/hour
Shifts: 6a–2p | 7a–3p | 8a–4p | 9a–5p | 10a–6p | 11a–7p

Overview
The Donor Care Specialist I / Driver supports hospital blood donation programs by screening donors, performing whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy, and assisting with donor recruitment. This role includes driving mobile blood collection units and ensuring safe, high-quality donor care at on-site and off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor screenings and eligibility assessments per regulatory standards

• Perform whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy

• Prepare and label blood components and samples

• Complete accurate documentation and data entry

• Support donor recruitment efforts

• Maintain inventory, supplies, and clean work areas

• Follow hospital policies, safety, and quality standards

• Deliver excellent customer service

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior phlebotomy experience (certification or accredited program preferred)

• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement required (bloodmobile)

• Prior commercial driving experience preferred
