Make a meaningful difference supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Manchester, NH. This contract opportunity is perfect for paraprofessionals eager to work alongside educators and assist K-12 students with intensive needs for the upcoming 25/26 school year. Ten positions are available, spanning August 2026 to June 2027, full-time (32.5–37.5 hours per week).

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior paraprofessional experience within a school setting is essential
  • Experience working with K–12 students, particularly those with intensive needs, is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable and patient, capable of handling a variety of classroom environments
  • Collaborative team approach and willingness to support classroom teachers
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on assistance to students with diverse learning, behavioral, or physical needs
  • Support instruction, reinforce lessons, and facilitate classroom activities under teacher direction
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
  • Assist students with daily routines and transitions throughout the school day
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Supervise students during class activities, lunch, recess, and other school events
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow school protocols at all times
