Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Interventional Radiology travel assignment in Portsmouth, NH, requiring at least 2 years of experience and the ability to perform on-call shifts.

  • Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • \n

  • Unit consists of 2 IR suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane), 1 holding area, and 1 CT procedure room
  • \n

  • Team includes 5 nurses and 5 techs
  • \n

  • Equipment includes Philips Bi-Plane, Philips Single Plane, and GE Monitoring systems
  • \n

  • EMR: Expanse
  • \n

  • Procedures include angiograms, Trevo, cerebral coiling, biopsies, neuro intervention/angiograms, carotid stenting, embolectomy, thrombectomy (PE), kyphoplasty, ESI, hip injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and renal microwave ablations
  • \n

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with on-call requirements
  • \n

  • 1–2 call nights per week with flexibility to pick up additional call as needed for departmental needs
  • \n

  • Weekend work required based on departmental demands
  • \n

  • No floating required
  • \n

  • 13-week contract
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Active NH or Compact RN license required
  • \n

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
  • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Interventional Radiology or a related specialty
  • \n

  • Experience in procedural departments, critical care, ED, or ICU required
  • \n

  • Experience with moderate sedation required
  • \n

  • Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
  • \n

  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • \n

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • \n

  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • \n

  • Provide procedural nursing care including moderate sedation monitoring across a wide range of IR cases
  • \n

  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team
  • \n

  • One professional reference required (candidates from Florida or Missouri must provide two references)
