Travel LPN 13-Week Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team on a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Manchester, NH. As a Travel LPN, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of certified nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations, and providing direct patient care. Essential Functions:

Participates in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents, observing for changes in their status and documenting accordingly

Transcribes physician orders, administers medications, and performs wound treatments as per physicians' orders

Provides nursing leadership to nursing personnel, providing direct care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' needs are holistically met

Initiates, reviews, and updates care plans as required
Additional Tasks:

Treats all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights

Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to facility policies and procedures

Maintains confidentiality of protected health information

Reports noncompliance, retaliation, or discrimination to appropriate personnel

Participates in life safety and emergency drills and trainings
Licensure and Certification:
-
Current valid LPN license in VT

Valid CPR certification
Experience:
-
At least one (1) year nursing experience preferred

Evidence of continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological nursing and/or long-term care nursing desirable
