Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring VT or compact RN licensure and prior teaching facility experience.
Details\n

- Work in the M7 NICU unit of a hospital environment
- Cares for NICU patients including feeder/growers and approximate neonate age assignments
- 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- 36 hours per week over a 6-week assignment
- Floating required, with travelers floating first to newborn NICU, mother/baby, newborn rounds, nursery, delivery attendance, or pedi/PICU with neonate feeder/grower
- Every other weekend required, with potential for additional weekend scheduling as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- No block schedules permitted
- Uses Epic EMR

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active RN license (VT or compact) required
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- STABLE and RNC-NIC certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years NICU experience required
- NICU Level III experience required
- Teaching facility experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred; if not, candidate must have experience at a large NICU teaching facility with 500+ bed count
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required

- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III NICU setting
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team supporting neonatal and maternal care
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
