Job DescriptionAs a Lead C#/.NET Developer at Lab49, you’ll play a key role in designing and building modern, service-oriented applications that power the world’s leading financial institutions. You’ll work across the full stack - from robust backend services built with cutting-edge C# to sleek, high-performance front-end interfaces using modern web technologies and frameworks.
This is a hands-on, impactful role where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that make a real difference in global financial markets.What You'll Do
- Design and build high-performance, testable C#/.NET microservices leveraging the latest in cloud, containerization, and messaging technologies.
- Collaborate on software architecture and technical design decisions that shape scalable, enterprise-grade financial solutions.
- Contribute as part of an Agile/Scrum team, translating user stories into clean, maintainable code and delivering working software each sprint.
- Own your applications end-to-end — from development through deployment — and provide production support when needed to ensure reliability and performance.
CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience developing commercial-grade software applications.
- Proven hands-on expertise in C#/.NET development, with a deep understanding of modern C# features and best practices.
- Strong SQL skills with at least 3+ years of experience working with complex, multi-tier architectures.
- Solid foundation in software design principles, development methodologies, and building scalable, maintainable systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with modern front-end web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Blazor) is a plus.
- Knowledge of — or interest in — capital markets and financial systems is highly desirable.
We are hiring across multiple levels for this job.The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. However, the base salary range may vary depending on the individual's job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
