Job Description

Job Description A Unique Clinical Opportunity

This unique position offers an exciting opportunity for a BCBA to apply their clinical expertise while gaining valuable experience across a diverse range of student ages, developmental levels, and instructional settings. Working collaboratively with an experienced multidisciplinary Clinical Team, the clinician will support intensive individualized instruction, group instruction, natural environment teaching, and community-based learning. With responsibilities spanning elementary communication and academic programming through high school and post-secondary vocational, independent living, and community participation skills, this position offers the opportunity to expand clinical knowledge, contribute meaningful expertise, and positively influence students’ quality of life both during and beyond their school years.

In our Elementary Program, clinicians support intensive individualized instruction, communication development, foundational academics, learning readiness, and structured group instruction. In our High School/Post-Secondary Transition Program, instruction emphasizes functional academics, vocational preparation, daily living skills, social communication, and community participation. Across both programs, students learn through intensive teaching, natural environment teaching, group instruction, and meaningful real-world experiences that promote independence and quality of life after graduation.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and oversee individualized clinical and educational programming across assigned elementary and secondary/transition groupings.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Directors, fellow clinicians, Special Education Teachers, Behavior Therapists, and related service providers to design, implement, and refine meaningful programs.
  • Use assessments, direct observation, and student data to inform clinical recommendations, IEP goals, progress reporting, and instructional adjustments.
  • Design and support intensive individualized instruction, natural environment teaching, and engaging group instruction; develop communication and academic programming for elementary students and functional, vocational, daily living, and community-based learning opportunities for older students.
  • Train, coach, and support Behavior Therapists and Clinical Fellows within the clinician’s qualifications and assigned scope; promote consistent, high-quality implementation.
  • Participate in IEP and clinical team meetings, student rotation meetings, and collaborative problem-solving across programs.
  • Partner with families through regular program reviews, parent training, and communication regarding student progress.
  • Support safe, well-organized learning environments and a positive, supportive team culture.

Clinical Collaboration & Support

This is a team-oriented role. The clinician works closely with the Clinical Director and Clinical Team for consultation, planning, clinical review, and professional development. Candidates who are not yet certified will receive supervision and support appropriate to their credentials and assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification strongly preferred. Candidates who are eligible to sit for the BCBA examination within the next three months will also be considered.
  • Relevant graduate-level training and experience in applied behavior analysis, autism services, and individualized student programming.
  • Interest in working across elementary and high school/post-secondary age groups, with varied learning and developmental priorities.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organization, and collaborative leadership skills.
  • Ability to meet applicable credentialing and supervision requirements for assigned responsibilities.

Annual salary: $70,000–$90,000, dependent on credentials and experience. Opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus, subject to individual performance and available state funding.
