Step into a vital role supporting students across K-12 in a school-based setting, providing occupational therapy services district-wide. This full-time, contract position spans four school buildings and runs from late August through mid-June. You'll play a key part in helping students reach their fullest potential, working alongside skilled educators and support staff.

Qualifications

Current and valid Occupational Therapy certification in Vermont
Previous school-based OT experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently across multiple buildings
Knowledge of developmentally-appropriate interventions for children and adolescents
Comfortable working with a diverse student population (K-12)

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive OT assessment, treatment, and consultation services to students
Develop and implement individualized therapy goals as part of IEP teams
Travel between four school buildings as needed, supporting a variety of age groups
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
Adapt therapy techniques to meet changing student needs throughout the school year
