The Opportunity

A&M is seeking a Civil Project Engineer with 3–5+ years of experience preparing civil/site construction documents and permitting submissions for private land development projects. The role supports projects through multiple phases of development, including design, permitting, due diligence, construction documents, and construction administration.

What You’ll Do

· Perform grading and drainage calculations and prepare site due diligence materials.

· Assist with engineering plans, construction documents, specifications, reports, and permit submissions.

· Support projects through local, state, and federal permitting processes.

· Work closely with Principals and Project Managers.

· Support construction administration services.

· SWPPP inspections and general field work are a strong plus.

What We’re Looking For

· 3–5+ years of professional engineering experience in private land development.

· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

· EIT certification preferred, or obtainable within one year of hire.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to apply engineering principles, interpret plans/specifications, and evaluate regulations.

· Ability to work independently while following QA/QC procedures.

· AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency required.

· HydroCAD and Civil 3D experience is a strong plus.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
