Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This rewarding contract position aligns with the school year, running from September 8th through the end of the academic year, and offers a part-time schedule between 10 and 15 hours per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) teaching license
- Previous experience working with students with intellectual disabilities or higher-needs populations preferred
- Skilled in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and positive behavior support strategies
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and educational staff
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability to changing student and classroom needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction and behavioral support for a caseload of 3-5 students with intellectual disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized IEP goals in consultation with team members and families
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment to maximize student learning and independence
- Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing school communications
