Edgewood Center for Rehab is seeking a motivated and compassionate Part Time and Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current NH PTA license in good standing

Long-term care and/or geriatric experience preferred
Position Summary
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct physical therapy services focused on improving residents’ functional performance and daily living skills.
Responsibilities

Provide therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist

Complete accurate and timely documentation

Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the supervising PT

Assist with transfers, mobility training, positioning, exercises, and therapeutic activities

Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment
-
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and safety

Assist with discharge planning and equipment recommendations
-
Support a positive, safe, and collaborative rehab environment
