Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiovascular surgeons by preparing and maintaining specialized surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the Cardiovascular Operating Room is fully stocked and adheres to sterility protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate efficient and safe procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical supplies and manage inventory.
- Support patient care through vigilant monitoring of equipment functionality.
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician or related nursing role.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation.
- Certification or formal training in surgical technology or nursing preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure healthcare setting.
- Excellent organizational and munication skills.
Type of Position:
- Contract, with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly excluding any on-call time.
