Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available to provide Speech-Language Pathology services for a specialized high school program located in Ludlow, MA. This position focuses on supporting students enrolled in the Compass High Program, which serves high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program emphasizes personalized, supportive education designed to build skills for greater independence outside of traditional classroom settings.
Position Details:
- Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment onsite; client main office in West Springfield)
- Duration: Extended School Year (ESY), July 6, 2026 August 7, 2026, with potential consideration for the 2026-2027 school year
- Schedule: 15-20 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days
- Caseload: High school students requiring AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) services experience; AAC evaluations not required
Qualifications:
- Licensure and credentials must meet state requirements for speech-language pathology in schools
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with learning differences preferred
- Familiarity with AAC tools and techniques to support communication needs
- Ability to provide individualized services tailored to the unique goals of each student
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy focused on communication skills within a specialized educational environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective treatment plans
- Support student progress toward greater independence through skill-building interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and program requirements
