Are you passionate about making a difference in patient care? At Merrimack Valley Cardiology within Lowell General Hospital, we are looking for a dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform specialized cardiac ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Position Details
Hours: 30 hours weekly, with 10-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Location: Merrimack Valley Cardiology, 14 Research Pl, North Chelmsford, MA
Your Role
As a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, you will:
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations using m-mode, 2-D, 3-D, and Doppler techniques.
- Assist physicians in acquiring and analyzing echocardiographic data.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure adherence to infection control and quality assurance standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them and their families.
- Participate in quality control and assurance for all ultrasonic equipment.
- Contribute to research projects by assisting in data collection and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Science.
- Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire.
- One year of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science.
- Two years of clinical experience.
