Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Division Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction and RF projects division. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong technical background, proven project management expertise, and the ability to foster a collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive client satisfaction while ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring cohesive teamwork toward common goals.
  • Collaborate directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead marketing initiatives and proposal development efforts.
  • Coordinate and manage a multi-disciplinary team, including marketing, proposal preparation, estimating, and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee projects and project managers, ensuring timely and quality execution.
  • Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders with vendors.
  • Apply knowledge of radio frequency (RF) bandwidths, shielding, and shielded enclosures.
  • Manage division resources, work allocation, and project backlog.
  • Review and prepare submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Partner with the EHS division to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Understand and apply theoretical design principles, anechoic materials, and RF shielding.
  • Review and manage project P&L statements and financial performance.
  • Apply AIA billing methodology effectively.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a positive work environment, entrepreneurial thinking, and team engagement.
  • Manage intercompany and external meetings to align stakeholders.
  • Track projects and prepare weekly status reports.
  • Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BS degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; MBA is desirable.
  • Experience: 10–15 years of construction management experience, preferably with design/build project delivery. Proven experience in leadership and project management.
  • Skills: Strong multitasking, communication, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
