Position Summary Busy orthopedic practice looking for qualified X-ray Technicians to join our team on a per diem basis. An ideal candidate is a courteous, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, team player with previous orthopedic experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program and holds valid license.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, processes, and procedures
• Ability to use sound logic and professional judgment and act calmly during emergencies.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally.
• Knowledge of digital imaging
• Knowledge of electronic health records (eClinicalWorks & Epic preferred)

Job Types: Per diem

Pay: up to $42.00 per hour with experience

Schedule: As Needed
