Lawn Care Fertilization Technician
Job Description
As a Lawn Care Fertilizer Technician, you'll apply fertilizer, weed control, and pest control treatments to residential and commercial properties throughout Massachusetts. You'll work independently on a route, follow a treatment schedule, and communicate directly with customers about their lawn's health. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes a hands-on job, and wants to build a long-term career in the lawn care and landscaping industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- \n
- Apply applications in accordance with EPA guidelines for lawn care, tree, shrub, and pest control
- Interact with commercial clients
- Operate ride-on and push spreaders/sprayers, and maintain equipment in safe working condition
- Diagnose common lawn issues (weeds, grubs, fungus, thin/bare spots) and recommend treatment plans
- Follow a daily route schedule efficiently, arriving on time to each property
- Accurately document applications, product usage, and account notes
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site and leave clear service summaries
- Follow all Massachusetts pesticide/fertilizer application laws and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle

Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record
- Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License or willingness to obtain certification (Romeiro's Landscaping can assist with training and licensing for the right candidate)
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or turf management
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate power equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-service mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
