Make a lasting impact by supporting students in grades 5 through 8 as a valued paraprofessional for the upcoming academic year. This full-time opportunity is available on a contract basis from August 2026 through June 2027. You'll work Monday through Friday for 32–37.5 hours per week, fostering student success and engagement in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role.
- Familiarity with the needs and learning styles of middle school students.
- Ability to assist teachers in implementing individualized and group instruction.
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
- Reliable and flexible approach to meeting students’ and staff needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework or certification preferred.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students in classroom and small group settings.
- Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and instructional activities.
- Support students’ social and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt materials and strategies.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and organized learning atmosphere.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed.
