Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity offers a dynamic role for an Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact in a school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. From September 1st to June 15th, you’ll work full-time, averaging 31 hours per week, supporting students across both elementary and high school settings in an itinerant capacity. With a diverse caseload (still to be determined), your expertise will be valued as you adapt strategies to meet the varied needs of developing learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, pediatric assessment, and therapeutic intervention
- Excellent communication and adaptability while traveling between sites
- Passion for fostering student independence and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students—individually and in groups—as indicated by IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and develop goal-driven treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and ancillary staff to optimize student participation
- Contribute documentation, progress reports, and data collection throughout the school year
- Travel between elementary and high school campuses as an itinerant therapist
- Support inclusive practices and participate in IEP meetings
