MEP Estimator
Description
Prepare detailed and accurate labor, materials, and equipment takeoffs
Completed detailed cost estimates for projects small and large
Collaborates with construction managers, engineers, vendors, and personnel from other departments to discuss and formulate estimates
Builds customer and vendor relationships
Review documents to develop clear understanding of project scope
Work closely with operations team to relay key project scope information during proposal review meetings and at project turnovers
Solicits subcontractor and vendor pricing
Assist in maintenance of bid documents (plans, specs, RFI, addenda, quotes, and proposals)
Procure best pricing for subs and vendors, review quotes for accuracy and compliance with bid documents
Identify project risks and opportunities and bring them for review
Comfortably attends and participates in scope review meetings with client to answer any questions

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical experience in mechanical, plumbing, or fire protection systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Autobid Mechanical and BId Tracer a plus
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Waltham, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
