Assists physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
\n
Graduate of CCAHEP or ASCP/SCP accredited program preferred.
\n Bachelor's degree preferred in biology, anatomy, physiology, or a related field • At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
\n ACLS/PALS per contract requirements.
\n Current CPR if applicable
\n TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
\n Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
\n Must be at least 18 years of age
