Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers an opportunity to support student learning as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting. The position is full-time with a schedule of 32.5 to 35 hours per week, beginning ASAP and continuing through June 2026. This contract position is ideal for professionals with prior school experience looking to contribute positively to the educational environment of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in providing individualized and group support to students.
  • Support students with special needs within the elementary school caseload.
  • Help implement instructional activities and reinforce learning concepts.
  • Monitor and encourage positive behavior and engagement in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to meet student needs effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
  • Patience and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Understanding of elementary education and developmental stages of children.
