Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for an elementary school setting in Haverhill, MA. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 30+ hours over 5 days per week. The position focuses on providing speech therapy services to elementary-aged students, with specialized experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Proficiency in AAC techniques and interventions
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech and language disorders in elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Utilize AAC strategies and technology to enhance communication skills
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
