Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a multi-facility rotating position requiring every weekend availability across two New Hampshire locations.
Details
- Rotating assignment between two outpatient/acute care facilities in Bedford, NH and Londonderry, NH
- Patient populations include adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and pediatric outpatient
- Procedures include CT of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, vascular chest (PE, CTA, aorta), carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, enterography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
- Advanced imaging techniques include 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Every weekend is required with a rotating schedule between two locations: Weekend 1 includes Monday at Bedford 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Friday at Londonderry 2:00–8:00 PM, and Saturday/Sunday at Bedford 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Weekend 2 includes Monday at Bedford 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Friday at Londonderry 2:00–8:00 PM, and Saturday/Sunday at Londonderry 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- No call or float requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Valid NH state license required (candidates with NH license pending will be considered)
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- BLS certification required — only AHA or American Red Cross certifications accepted
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment and PACS required
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required
- Experience with isolation precautions required
- Level II trauma experience preferred
- Previous charge or lead/management experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a local pay rate
- Former employees of any facility within the SolutionHealth system are not eligible for this position, regardless of length of separation or time previously worked
- Professional references are required; candidates may be considered with a second reference pending
- No scrub color requirement — any color is accepted
