Pride Health is hiring for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our client’s top-tier pediatric healthcare facility Newburyport, MA. This is a 13-week travel opportunity—an excellent way to gain experience in a leading pediatric hospital!

Schedule: 5x8 Days | Mon-Fri - 10H days 40H/week - call as needed
Pay Range: $2400 Weekly Gross
Job Summary
We’re currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Newburyport, MA. The technologist will independently perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures using appropriate techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging.
The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to maintain workflow efficiency while ensuring optimal patient care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently using proper imaging techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure all systems are maintained in safe, working condition.
- Administer medications and perform venipuncture according to licensure and scope of practice.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure compliance with departmental and state regulations.
- Coordinate patient flow and daily operations within the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Document and manage patient data using EPIC electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- May assist with procedures in other imaging modalities as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations when required.
Education
- Minimum Education: Associate Degree
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree (optional)
Licensure / Certification
- Required:
- Current CPR Certification
- Nuclear Medicine Registry (ARRT)
- MA license
- Preferred: Additional modality certifications
Experience
- Must have 2+ years experience and have GE experience.
- Preferred: 4 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
- System Experience: Proficiency with EPIC required
