Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leading K-12 school in Worcester, MA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and academic success throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves collaboration with educators, administrators, and families to provide psychological services tailored to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Develop individualized intervention plans and monitor progress
- Consult with teachers and staff on behavioral and learning challenges
- Participate in team meetings to support student development and special education planning
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts
- Experience working with K-12 populations in public or private school settings
- Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
