Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to join our service department. The ideal candidate is a strong diagnostician who takes pride in quality workmanship and is looking for a long-term home with a well-established, growing shop.
Core Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes
- Perform routine maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and time estimates
- Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Perform Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations as needed - training provided
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide consistent, high-quality work that supports our reputation for excellence
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Technician - this is a firm requirement
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across a range of vehicle makes and models
- Positive attitude with the desire to continue developing your career
- Own basic hand tools required for the position
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced shop environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MA State Inspector's License
- ASE Certifications
- Experience and/or interest in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations - training provided
- Experience with OEM diagnostic platforms and manufacturer repair procedures
- Familiarity with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar service/estimating platforms
